The service
The Muay Thai University (“the service”) is a subscription video training service operated by Siam Boxing, providing structured Muay Thai tutorials at themuaythaiuniversity.com. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Your account
You must give accurate details when you register and keep your password to yourself. Your account is personal: it must not be shared, and one account is for one person. You are responsible for anything done under your account, so tell us straight away at info@themuaythaiuniversity.com if you think someone else has access to it.
Memberships and billing
Membership is offered monthly or yearly and is required to watch the training library (free previews excepted). When paid memberships are live, payments are taken by Stripe at the start of each billing period and prices are shown in pounds sterling, inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal: your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded.
Until paid memberships open, you may create a free account. Free accounts can watch free preview content only.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share your account or sign-in details with anyone else,
- download, record, re-stream or redistribute any video or other content from the service,
- use the content to build a competing product or teach it commercially without our written permission, or
- attempt to bypass the membership paywall or interfere with the operation of the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
Content and intellectual property
All videos, text, images and branding on the service belong to Siam Boxing or our licensors, including material featuring guest coaches. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to stream the content for your own training while your membership is active. It does not transfer any ownership to you.
Train sensibly
Muay Thai is a demanding physical activity. The tutorials are general instruction, not personal coaching, and you follow them at your own risk. Check with a doctor before starting if you have any health concerns, train within your limits, and use proper equipment and supervision for any partner or sparring work. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries sustained while training with our content.
Availability and changes
We add new lessons regularly and may change, replace or remove content as the library evolves. We work to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, members will be notified and any prepaid period beyond the closing date refunded pro rata.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also rely on the consumer protections and courts of your home nation.
